Job description: Overview:A British family is seeking a highly experienced housekeeper to oversee their 6-bedroom villa in Abu Dhabi. The property is on an island, with only speedboat access to/from the mainland. There is a shared island boat with the community and the family also have their own speedboat and Captain.The family are only in residence a couple of days per week, so there will be times when only the household staff will be on site; especially during the Summer months when the family travel, or when guests of the family are staying.This is a live-in position, and the candidate will have a private bedroom, including a sofa and tv.The schedule is to be determined but will be a 6-day week, and the position is to start as soon as possible. Responsibilities:Duties will include but not limited to:
- Cleaning of the home and maintenance upkeep inside the home (also managed by the chef who acts as house manager)
- Washing and ironing
- Basic cooking (if the chef requires help)
- Help with setting up for breakfast
- Replenishing of stocks in the house, place settings for dining, shopping lists preparing for orders (alongside the chef)
- Preparing the rooms upon guests arrival/departure ensuring welcome packs are in the rooms.
- There is 1 gardener who doubles up as an extra pair of hands who will also assist the housekeeper with tasks such as ironing etc.
Qualifications:
- Must have prior experience working for an UHNW family
- Previous experience working in a hotel would be a plus
- The family are looking for someone who is self-motivated and hands-on
Requirements:
- The candidate must be comfortable living on an island and having to use a boat to travel to the mainland
- The house is very relaxed with a fun atmosphere, where when guests stay the family want them to feel like they are in a resort.
Salary and Benefits:
- 15K monthly salary
