Job description: DESCRIPTIONJoin us in building on AWS, for AWS!The AWS Field Experiences (AFX) organization is looking for a passionate, innovative, and results-oriented leader to build and own AWS Partner-focused, Field-facing products that fundamentally optimizes, automates and streamlines AWS Specialists & Partners (ASP), improves partners-focused sales efficiency and productivity, accelerates partner sales motions, drives AWS Cloud – Services and Programs adoption and meaningfully improves the bottom-line. Our products enables AGS and, by extension, ASP to obsess over our customers and partners worldwide, make proactive, data-driven recommendations and be a trusted advisor to our customers and partners in line with their core objectives/use cases/problems/needs that positions AWS as a strategic business partner in addition to a world-class cloud computing provider.We are looking for an individual that thrives in an ambiguous setting, one who can identify customer (aka partner) pain points and needs, define a work back plan and product strategy, outline product roadmap and requirements, is comfortable working with UX, engineering, science and many other cross-functional teams, and can deliver high quality products with potential to even externalize such products, offering the Field prescriptive guidance that is timely, accurate and actionable, and automating end-to-end partner workflows that drives efficient and productivity using the intersection of software, data and Generative AI to give customers the “superpowers”.In this role, you will:

  • Engage with AWS Specialists and Partners to understand the pain points and needs in our partner-focused, partner-influenced sales function, define customer personas and journeys, identify critical use cases and opportunities, and brainstorm related product ideas
  • Author well-researched and detailed working backwards documents to review product ideas with senior executives, define product vision, strategy and roadmap, and articulate clear product requirements and UX. Explore ways to leverage GenAI in every aspect of the product(s).
  • Define product goals and success metrics, manage prioritization, and evaluate trade-offs.
  • Be the voice of the customer. Work directly with engineering, data, science and many other cross-functional teams to execute on the roadmap, and manage through obstacles/blockers to achieve the objectives.
  • Own business reporting for senior management review on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis. Work with data team(s), where necessary.
  • Leverage strong written and verbal communication skills, and data analytical capabilities to drive business decisions and measure success.

– 5+ years of technical product or program management experiencePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS– MBA
– Master’s degree in a quantitative/technical field such as computer science, engineering, statistics
– Prior experience in managing technical products, cloud-based services
– Experience designing, building and launching software products from 0 to 1
– Experience with UX designing, agile development lifecycle and data analytics tools
– Knowledge of product management best practices

The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
