POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will play an important supporting role in the overall maintenance and groundskeeping tasks of the factory such as facility expansions, in-depth repairs, sanitation, and aesthetics. You will work extensively within all areas of building maintenance including plumbing, building electrical, repairing walls and floors, HVAC, and more.
- Electrical troubleshooting and repair including use of multimeter as well as other appropriate tools and safety measures.
- Plumbing including installation and repair of PVC, copper lines, and more.
- Cleaning, adjusting, troubleshooting, and performing preventative maintenance on HVAC systems and equipment within a large facility.
- Correctly lay out and install man doors and overhead doors.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and/or rebuild mechanical equipment.
- Perform general maintenance tasks, repairs, and carpentry related for the factory building and grounds.
- Plan and work on new mechanical installation from design to completion.
- All other duties as assigned.
- MUST BE OPEN TO ALL SHIFTS.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
- 1+ years’ facilities maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, production, military, or related environment.
