One of Australia’s largest specialist accounting firms is looking to expand their established team of developers, primarily tasked with developing, supporting and enhancing an in-house developed practice management software application.
Job Description
As part of a small team reporting into the Lead Developer, this role has the following responsibilities:
- Develop, test, implement, document, and maintain application programs.
- Bug identification and resolution.
- Suggest and play a part in improvements to coding standards and practices.
- Provide ad-hoc application support to end-users on occasion.
The Successful Applicant
Skills and experience required:
- Demonstrated commercial experience developing and supporting Visual Studio/VB.NET based applications.
- SQL Server (T-SQL, table design, stored procedures, etc)
- Exposure to DBML and Linq
- Information systems design
Beneficial (not essential, but a great opportunity to learn):
- Exposure to TFS/Git development environment
- C#
- ASP.NET Core
- Entity Framework (ideally EF Core 8.0)
- Automation
- Microsoft Azure deployment environment
