Job description: DescriptionPosition at JBS USASAP MM Functional AnalystPurpose and Scope/General Summary: We are looking for a SAP MM Functional Analyst for JBS that reports onsite to the corporate office in Greeley, Colorado.The successful applicant in this role is responsible for business and systems analysis functions supporting our supply chain systems focusing on SAP Material Management. This individual will apply proven analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of IT investments. All activities from process mapping, designing, configuration, requirements gathering, writing functional specifications, quality control testing, end user training, documentation, on-going maintenance and enhancements for SAP. This includes understanding and testing with other systems integrated with SAP. Candidate must be willing and able to learn new functionalities, grow with the position requirements and be an integral team member. This role will also provide SAP support for a global install.Responsibilities:

  • Understand how applications support business processes and apply this knowledge to solve defined business problems.
  • Perform SAP system configuration to solve production issues, implement enhancements and prototype new functionality.
  • Design and deliver high quality solutions that meet overall business requirements.
  • Interface with business process owners to facilitate process improvement through enhanced or new application functionality.
  • Interface with development team members to clearly define requested changes.
  • Develop documentation for systems and processes.
  • Document functional business requirements and interpret them into process and system designs.
  • Perform regression testing to validate fixes and enhancements.
  • Understand customer needs and quantify appropriate actions.
  • Understand security needs and coordinate with required IT and Business team members.
  • Effectively transfer knowledge to the customer for on-going support.
  • Design and document test plans: Unit, integration, and regression.
  • Independently manage and deliver projects timely.
  • Support business areas via ticketing tool.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum of 10 years in Materials Management, Inventory Management, Procure to Pay, Logistics, and Material Planning.
  • Experience in global projects and shared environments.
  • SCM Background: Strong SCM background.
  • S/4 System Implementation, SAP Catch Weight Management (CWM), SAP for Retail industry (Article master data, merchandise categories, assortments, hierarchies).
  • Functional experience with PROXY, IDOCs, EDIs, and integration with external systems.
  • Strong knowledge in Procurement to Pay processes (Contract Management, Requisitioning, Purchasing, Pricing Procedure, Material Planning, Inventory Management, Logistics).
  • Strong working knowledge of master data requirements and setup.
  • Integration Points: Understanding of integration points with Accounts Payable and Sales & Distribution.
  • Experience with SAP Data Migration and Interfaces (SAP Query, LSMW, other data management tools).
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Visio.
  • Self-starter with full responsibility and ownership of tasks.
  • Ability to listen, understand, and facilitate process improvements.
  • Excellent communication and relational skills.
  • Positive attitude towards learning new functionalities.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in high-pressure environments.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision.
  • Ability to collaborate with teammates and various IT groups.

  • Willingness to travel as needed (20% domestic/international).

  • Preferable knowledge in Mercado-e (Mercado Eletronico) or Ariba.
  • Knowledge of FI, PP & SD modules and their integration points.
  • Understanding of MM security roles and assignments.
  • Ability to read and understand ABAP for problem analysis.
  • Ability to work with interfaces to non-SAP systems.
  • Project Management Knowledge.
  • SAP Academy certification.

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

  • Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
  • Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
  • 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
  • Base salary range of $100,000-$120,000;
  • Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program; and
