ABOUT THE DIVISION
Shared Services Division (SSD) is a provider of shared services, providing corporate transactional and technical services to 15 Australian Government entities.
As one of the hubs providing shared services to the public sector, the SSD directly supports public sector productivity. Through the delivery of shared, standard and sustainable technologies and processes, the Service Delivery Office (SDO) contributes to effective and efficient organisational management.
The SDO is enabling clients to take targeted actions jointly, within their own organisation or in the shared service provider, to mitigate risk with a focus on minimising cost and maximising benefit.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
An APS 6 SAP ABAP Developer in the Environment Management team will be required to perform the following duties:
- End-to-end SAP ABAP Development for SAP ECC6, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP Solution Manager and SAP Business Technology Platform program models
- Assist with SAP (HR & FI/CO) designing, development, implementation and maintaining system enhancements and modification in the delivery of support in department
- Contribute to the delivery of SAP Solutions utilising one or more of the following:
- SAP technologies: Configuration, customising, ABAP, BRF, workflow, Portal, Web Dynpro for ABAP/Java. SAP Transport system, SAP Change & Request Management, SAP UI5, Web Services design, Fiori Configuration & integration and Object Oriented development
- Manage third party dependencies related to SAP Developments
- Provide high level problem solving skills to resolve issues, ranging from Design through to development and configuration of enterprise-grade solutions
- Leverage the Scrum framework and facilitate the Agile development methodologies
- Coordinate with the functional analyst and end users to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
