Follow us on and .Job DescriptionUnder general direction, the 9235 Security Access Office Supervisor I is responsible for establishing standards and overseeing the work of staff at the Security Access Office (SAO) in adherence to regulations and policies affecting credentialing of aviation workers as defined by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).You are excited about this opportunity because you will:

  • Oversees fingerprinting, badging, and clearance programs at the Security Access Office; supervises the issuance of airport security badges, credential keys, and permits by conducting background checks and verifying identity document while maintaining security and confidentiality of all personal information.
  • Responds to and resolves any security access-related issues or concerns raised by airport employees, contractors, or other stakeholders.
  • Audits daily logs and reports to ensure badging office activities are compliant with all policy and regulations, and take appropriate corrective measures for noncompliance; provides daily activity reports of reported incidents and inconsistencies to Airport security; compiles data and provides security access information to support audits and inspections of the airport’s badging program by external regulatory agencies.
  • Oversees the departmental purchasing supply inventories and budgets, including acquisition of equipment and materials.
  • Collaborates with other departments, stakeholders, and partnering regulatory agencies to ensure that the airport remains up to date on industry standards and in compliance with all security-related regulations and requirements, and to meet established goals and objectives; issues citations and corrective action recommendations for violation of federal regulations and requirements.
  • Identifies and communicates security and regulatory changes impacting badging operations and systems; recommends and supports development of necessary operational adjustments for the airport, tenants, vendors, and contractors; develops solutions that ensure badging and security systems meet performance and regulatory requirements.
