We’re looking for professionals with strong patient service skills, front-office healthcare experience, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Position Summary:
The Patient Access Representative is responsible for managing the front desk, greeting patients, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, handling payments, and supporting a smooth and efficient patient intake process.Key Responsibilities:Schedule patient appointments and enter accurate information into the systemCollect and verify patient demographic, insurance, and financial dataEnsure medical necessity compliance and obtain required signaturesCollect and post patient payments, including handling credit card transactionsCommunicate effectively with patients, guarantors, and internal staffManage front office workflow and maintain a professional lobby environmentRequired Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in patient access or similar healthcare front office roleHealth insurance verification experienceCustomer service and cashiering experienceCredit card handling experienceProficient in front office operationsBilingual (English & Spanish)Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and ExcelAbility to use 10-key by touchPreferred Qualifications:Experience using EPIC Electronic Medical Records (EMR)Benefits:Starting at $17/hourFull benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)Temp-to-hire opportunity with a well-established healthcare facilitySupportive and professional work environmentDean’s Professional Services is an award-winning staffing firm that has placed over 45,000 professionals nationwide since 1993.
