Job description: The EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining programs that ensure a safe and compliant workplace, aligned with local, state, and federal regulations. This role involves identifying risks, conducting audits and training, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to promote a strong safety culture across the organization.

  • Oversee adherence to environmental, health, and safety regulations, including OSHA and EPA standards
  • Facilitate employee safety training programs to promote awareness and compliance
  • Conduct routine inspections and internal audits to identify and mitigate risks
  • Lead incident investigations and drive the implementation of effective corrective and preventive measures
  • Manage documentation and reporting to ensure regulatory compliance and internal transparency
  • Develop and continuously improve EHS policies, procedures, and systems in alignment with organizational goals

  • B.S. in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene or Safety Engineering
  • 5-7+ years safety experience
  • CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CIH (Certified Industry Hygienist) or comparable certification is a plus
  • Knowledge of Federal and State Regulations
  • Have strong communication, written and computer skills
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Knowledge and experience working with Regulatory Agencies such as, OSHA, EPA, DOT and others as appropriate Professional Certification CSP/ASP/CHST preferred.

Expected salary: $100000 – 130000 per year
