Job description: Responsibilities:Assist in selecting and sourcing products based on market trends and sales data.Work closely with suppliers and vendors to negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.Place purchase orders and track shipments to ensure timely stock replenishment.Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to improve product availability and cost efficiencies.Develop demand forecasts based on historical sales, seasonality, and industry trends.Monitor inventory levels, identifying risks of overstocking or stock outs.Collaborate with warehouse and supply chain teams to optimize stock flow and minimize waste.Assist in setting and adjusting pricing strategies based on cost, competitor analysis, and demand.Analyze sales reports and customer data to assess product performance.Identify opportunities for new products, promotions, or markdowns to maximize revenue.Conduct competitive research to stay ahead of market trends and pricing shifts.Work with the marketing team to support product launches and promotional campaignsWork with merchandising, sales, and marketing teams to ensure product alignment.Support the design and R&D teams in product development when applicable.Communicate regularly with suppliers and logistics teams to streamline purchasing and planning processes.Required Skills3 years of experience in buying, product planning, or inventory management.Strong analytical skills, with experience in Excel, ERP systems, and sales forecasting tools.Excellent communication and organisational skills.Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple products and deadlines.
Expected salary: 7000 – 8000 per month
