Vendor Performance and Data Analyst sits within Chubb Global Claims Vendor Management, and is responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring the strategy for managing strategic vendor partnerships. As a leader in the Claims Vendor Management organization, this person will partner with Claims disciplines, and other key internal stakeholders to utilize data to monitor vendor performance. This role will provide the Vendor Managers with key data enabling them to make decisions leveraging both internal and externally generated data sources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish long-term vision for Claims Vendor Management strategy and build analytics roadmap to prioritize opportunities, allocate resources, and execute on vision
- Develop and drive stewardship templates with performance scorecards
- Actively seek out opportunities and develop strategic recommendations, execution plans, success metrics, and KPIs to reduce risk and ensure compliance and operational performance against internal and external business requirements
- Communicate and collaborate with key partners, vendor leadership, vendor management teams, finance teams, and senior executives.
- Facilitate any needed process, service, or product improvements/implementations.
- Develop and proactively produce actionable data for internal customers, concentrating on delivery of simple easily digestible information that can be leveraged to improve results.
Performance Management & Reporting:
- Define KPIs relevant to each vendor and track results over time
- Work with vendors to generate monthly reporting, analyze data, and interpret results to identify successes, opportunities, and performance gaps against objectives and requirements. Communicate findings to internal and external stakeholders
- Measure and improve vendor performance (cost, quality, and delivery)
- Maintain business controls for monitoring and controlling process delivery associated with large scale vendor contracts
- Develop bespoke reporting as needed by Vendor Management and other internal teams using vendor’s existing self-serve reporting tools, as well as coordinating as necessary with the vendor’s report development resources for more complex analyses.

- 7+ years of equivalent experience in operations management, vendor management, or consulting
- Bachelors degree; MBA, or advanced degree in operations. Accounting, finance, data analytics or economics is helpful
- Experience in Procurement/Vendor Management; defining SLAs, implementing process and quality improvements, budget planning and tracking
- Ability to navigate through ambiguity, manage and oversee multiple project assignments simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, results oriented environment, accepting ownership and accountability of the process and delivering on commitments
- Prior experience in Financial Services and/or Insurance, especially Claims, is a plus
