We seek a dedicated Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager passionate about driving safety culture, ensuring regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA, DOT), and promoting accident prevention and injury management at our Houston manufacturing and warehousing location.
ResponsibilitiesWhat You’ll Do:As an EHS Manager, you’ll lead initiatives that integrate safety and environmental programs into our day-to-day operations. Your expertise will guide us in achieving sustained improvements in safety performance, compliance, and environmental stewardship. You’ll be instrumental in supporting the location’s manufacturing teams, identifying solutions for workplace safety, and leading a proactive approach to EHS management.In this role, you will:

  • Lead the development and execution of our EHS strategy, driving compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations while advancing our safety culture.
  • Collaborate across teams to implement safety programs, Workers’ Compensation efforts, and environmental initiatives that make a difference.
  • Analyze data and identify trends to develop actionable solutions that prevent incidents and improve our EHS management system.
  • Take ownership of the EHS budget, action plans, and targets, ensuring measurable and impactful outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement by conducting risk assessments, training, and auditing, and leading by example in safety and environmental best practices.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and change leader, influencing positive behaviors and safety awareness at all levels of the organization.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $102,800 – $172,100.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 12% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, EHS or related discipline.
  • 7 years of EHS experience, ideally within consumer goods, manufacturing, or related industries.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10-12 years of EHS experience, ideally within consumer goods, manufacturing, or related industries.
  • People leadership experience.
  • Safety certifications such as Associate Safety Professional (ASP), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), and Certified Hazardous Material Manager (CHMM) are highly desirable.
