Job description: Overview:Savannah River Mission Completion (SRMC) is seeking a Senior SharePoint Administrator to be based in our Aiken, SC location on the Savannah River Site (SRS).Apply online using a current resume under the careers section of .The Senior SharePoint Administrator (Sr. Software Developer I) develops, designs and/or modifies operating facility web-based applications and related software applications. Involved in planning of system and development deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards. Evaluates interface between operational requirements, hardware and software, and characteristics of overall system. Documents testing and maintenance of system corrections. Designs and maintains web based, mobile technology, cloud, and security interface to meet the specific software needs of users. Responsibilities:

  • Generates, revises, updates, compiles, debugs and writes scientific, or software computer programs by applying complete understanding and application of technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and technologies and provides solutions to a wide range of difficult problems that are imaginative, thorough, practicable and consistent with organization objectives.
  • Architects and configures environment for Microsoft SharePoint Online cloud-based and on-prem (Office 365) design while supporting conversions including to Azure Fed Ramp approved platform; Power App/Power Tools and dashboard production and planned initiatives.
  • Develops flow charts and diagrams outlining process steps in operation; develops and revises program code.
  • Prepares documentation of program development, modifications to code and operating instructions.
  • Conducts program tests and analyzes system capabilities to resolve input/output problems.
  • Researches, designs, develops, and/or modifies applications software.
  • Plans system and development deployment
  • Defines how organization meets software compliance standards.
  • Evaluates interface between hardware and software, operational requirements, and characteristics of overall system. Documents testing and maintenance of system corrections.
  • Builds and codes applications and/or modules using languages such as C#, VB.net, XML, HTML, JavaScript, ASP.NET, etc.
  • Provides patches and upgrades to existing systems.
  • Designs web based, mobile technology, cloud, and security interface to meet the specific needs of users.
  • Prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.
  • May have subcontractor management responsibility.
  • May design, model, document, and guide the logical and conceptual relationship of data and database changes for complex applications.
  • Analyzes needs and requirements of existing and proposed systems, and develops technical, structural, and organizational specifications.
  • May create standards and/or perform modeling to monitor and enhance capacity and performance.
  • Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.
  • Contributes to completion specific projects where erroneous decisions may result in serious project delays and considerable expenditure of resources to rectify.
  • Works frequently across organization and with customers on difficult technical issues associated with specific projects.
  • Defines best practices for organization compliance with approved SRMC policies and procedures, and regulatory requirements and guidance (NIST, ASME, NQA-1 and SDLC).
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:High School Diploma/GED with relevant Information Technology (IT) Developer experience. Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree
  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Programming, Cyber Security
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with practical work experience
  • Experience as a Microsoft SharePoint Administrator.
  • Experience with analyzing business processes with customers and documenting results.
  • Experience with debugging and analyzing legacy or new applications.
  • Experience with automated testing.
  • Experience with data analytics using Microsoft Power BI or other similar product.

Minimum Pay: USD $82,900.00/Yr. Maximum Pay: USD $149,200.00/Yr.
