The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining software solutions that support our dental practice and dental insurance business operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and be able to work collaboratively in a team environment.How you will contribute:Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, design, develop, test, and implement software solutionsWrite clean, efficient, and maintainable code using C#, ASP.NET Razor, HTML, JavaScript or other technologiesCollaborate with the development team to design and implement complex features and enhancementsCollaborate with end-users to demonstrate work-in-process functionality and refine software products based on direct feedbackProduce documentation for software including inline documentation, data dictionaries and testing guidesParticipate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code that is scalable, reliable, and secureTroubleshoot and debug software issues and provide timely solutionsDevelop and maintain automated unit tests to ensure code qualityKeep up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trendsWhat you will bring with you:Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or equivalent experience5+ years of experience in software development using Visual Studio, C#, ASP.NET, REST/SOAP Web Services, JavaScript2+ years of experience working with Git code repositories5+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server or other SQL technologiesStrong understanding of software development principles and design patterns (especially Domain Driven Design & SOLID principles).Ability to work collaboratively in a team environmentExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsNice to have:10+ years of experience in software developmentExperience in a health care or dental care IT environmentExperience with enterprise software systemsASP.NET Blazor, Entity Framework (or other data modelling frameworks) or WPFUnit Testing in Visual StudioGit repository management or build pipelines in Azure DevOpsScrum, Kanban or other Agile methodologiesAzure Cloud or AWS software deployments & architectureHL7v2, HL7v3, FHIR or other healthcare data transaction standardsDo you see yourself in this role even if you haven’t checked all the boxes above?
