Job description: Key Responsibilities:
1.Oversee UAE and GCC trucking and rail shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective deliveries.
2.Coordinate with transport providers, drivers, and warehouses to manage daily operations efficiently.
3.Prepare and verify all required shipping documents, including delivery notes, invoices, and customs clearance.
4.Ensure compliance with UAE transport regulations and company policies.
5.Liaise with trucking companies and rail transport providers to ensure efficient scheduling and delivery.
6.Negotiate transport rates and evaluate vendor performance for continuous improvement.
7.Monitor shipments in real-time and provide regular status updates to relevant stakeholders.
8.Proactively resolve delays, issues, or route changes by coordinating with transport providers.
9.Identify opportunities to reduce transportation costs while maintaining service quality.
10.Analyze route planning and suggest more efficient transport solutions to improve delivery timelines.
11.Handle shipment delays, damaged goods, and transportation disruptions with quick resolutions.
12.Work with internal teams to mitigate potential risks and ensure customer satisfaction.
13.Ensure all land shipments comply with UAE customs and transport regulations.
14.Stay updated on new policies that may impact logistics operations and implement necessary adjustments.
15.Work closely with sales, warehouse, and customer service teams to ensure seamless logistics operations.
16.Maintain accurate shipment records and prepare logistics performance reports.Qualifications:
1.Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
2.Proven experience in logistics coordination, preferably within the UAE and GCC regions.
3.Strong knowledge of UAE transport regulations and customs procedures.
4.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
5.Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
