Job description: Patient Access & Revenue Cycle ManagerLocation: Plymouth, NH (100% onsite)Salary: $75,000 – $87,000, depending on experienceIndustry: HealthcareEmployment Type: Permanent / ExemptOverview: The Patient Access & Revenue Cycle Manager plays a critical leadership role managing numerous shifts and ensures seamless patient access, accurate registration, and financial counseling services. This role requires strong leadership abilities to ensure accurate data collection, regulatory compliance, and efficient revenue cycle processes while serving as a critical liaison between hospital practices and the main facility.Responsibilities:
- Hire, train, and evaluate staff across registration, financial counseling, and authorizations across multiple shifts
- Implement performance standards and develop accountability reporting
- Ensure compliance with No Surprises Billing Act and payer regulations
- Increase point-of-service collections and scheduled pre-registrations
- Develop effective patient interview processes for accurate data capture
- Coordinate with Care Management on inpatient admissions and level of care changes
- Assist with budget development and prepare variance reports
- Lead quality management initiatives and process improvements
Qualifications
- 3-5 years healthcare experience in patient registration or accounts
- 2+ years supervisory experience managing similar-sized teams
- Experience with EHR systems (Meditech Expanse preferred)
- Strong knowledge of registration processes and third-party billing regulations
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
