Project Duration: 9 – 12 months
Job Type: 1099 Contractor
Compensation:
- Hourly Rate: $50 – $52/HR
- Per Diem: No Per Diem
- Pay: Weekly
Schedule: 40 – 50 hours per week | Monday – Friday, 8-hour days | Some Saturdays as neededProject Scope: Safety oversight for pre-fitted sprinkler installation system in a data center, including overhead lifts, fall protection, tie-offs, site safety meetings, and required administrative work.Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years of safety management experience, specifically with mechanical installations and pipefitting.
- Certifications: BCSP certification (CHST, ASP, SMS, CSP) OR OSHA 510 with 7+ years of progressive safety experience in mechanical installations and pipefitting.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct project safety inspections and employee orientations.
- Provide safety training as needed.
- Monitor worksite employees and enforce safety practices.
- Lead site safety meetings and complete administrative reporting.
- Review and manage safety-related documentation and contractor correspondence.
Skills:
- Excellent public speaking and communication abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- OSHA outreach training experience is a plus.
- Confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
