Assignment Duration: completion date is currently mid 2026
Start Date: ASAP they will want people on site within three weeks
Pay Rate: $65/hr Plus $97.50/hr OT. OT applies to all hours worked in excess of 40/week
Per Diem: $145/day seven days per week regardless of work schedule
Mob/demob: miles, meals (Up to the GSA rate at the time of travel), travel time at the ST rate, and Lodging expenses according to receipts
Home Leave: once per month after 8 weeks with travel expenses reimbursed
Hours per week*: best estimate over the course of the project is 60hrs/week. We will be working under the direction and control of the client and they will dictate schedule. Hours will fluctuate week to week and this is only our best guess estimate on hours per week.
Drug Screening/Background: drug screening and background check both required
Special Safety Requirements: Individual needs to have Associate Safety Professional (ASP), Certified Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) and/or Construction Health & Safety Technician (CHST) certification. A minimum of 10 years safety work of a progressive nature with at least 5 years of experience on similar projects. 30-hour OSHA construction safety class or equivalent within the last 5 years. An average of at least 24 hours of formal safety training each year for the past 5 years with training for competent person status for at least the following 4 areas of competency: Excavation; Scaffolding; Fall protection; Hazardous energy; Confined space; Personal protective equipment and clothing to include selection, use and maintenance
Job Description:
NAVFAC project to construct 2 each nuclear refueling complexes (steel buildings). They have onsite and offsite yard locations; current need is at the offsite yard location (Lambert’s Point in Norfolk, VA). The offsite yard is the steel assemble yard where the steel modules are constructed, once built they are loaded out to barge and floated up the onsite for installation. Once all the modules (30 total) are complete the offsite team will move to the onsite blend the team together and fit out all finishes (panels, electrical, HVAC, interiors) for the buildings.

Expected salary: $65 per hour
