Job Type: Full-timeJob Summary:We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in a Landscaping Contracting Company. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of landscaping projects, including estimating, tendering, and contract administration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quantity surveying, excellent analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:1. Estimating and Tendering:
– Prepare and submit tenders for landscaping projects, including pricing, quantities, and specifications.
– Conduct site visits and surveys to gather information for estimating and tendering purposes.
– Analyze and review tender documents, including contracts, specifications, and drawings.
2. Contract Administration:
– Administer contracts, including negotiating contract terms, preparing contract documents, and managing contract variations.
– Ensure compliance with contract terms, including payment terms, delivery schedules, and quality standards.
– Manage and resolve contractual disputes and claims.
3. Quantity Surveying:
– Prepare and manage bills of quantities, including measuring and quantifying materials, labor, and equipment.
– Conduct site measurements and surveys to verify quantities and identify potential variations.
– Prepare and submit valuation certificates, including interim and final payments.
4. Cost Control:
– Monitor and control project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment.
– Identify and mitigate potential cost risks, including variations, delays, and defects.
– Prepare and submit cost reports, including budgeting and forecasting.
5. Collaboration and Communication:
– Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including project managers, site managers, and designers.
– Communicate with external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers.
– Prepare and submit reports, including project updates, cost reports, and contract documents.Requirements:1. Education:
– Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
2. Experience:
– Minimum 5 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably in a landscaping contracting company.
3. Skills:
– Excellent analytical and communication skills.
– Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
– Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
– Strong knowledge of contract law, quantity surveying principles, and construction methods.
4. Certifications:
– Certification in quantity surveying, such as MRICS or FRICS, is an asset.Salary AED 8000- 12000 (based on exp) + Standard benefits as per UAE law

Expected salary: 8000 per month
