Job description: Job Title: Business Analyst – Data Analytics DepartmentLocation: Dubai, UAEJob Type: Full-time contractorDepartment: Data & Analytics—About the Role:We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our Data Analytics Department. In this role, you will be responsible for gathering and documenting business requirements, engaging with stakeholders, and ensuring that data analytics projects align with business objectives. Your primary focus will be on understanding business needs, translating those needs into clear requirements, and facilitating communication between business users and the data team. You will play a critical role in ensuring that data analytics initiatives deliver actionable insights that drive business decisions.—Key Responsibilities:· Requirements Gathering & Documentation: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their objectives, challenges, and opportunities. Gather detailed business requirements and translate them into clear, actionable specifications for the data analytics team. Ensure that all business needs are well-documented and understood by both business and technical teams.· Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Act as the main point of contact between the business and data analytics teams. Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring their needs are prioritized and expectations are managed. Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates, clarify requirements, and gather feedback to ensure alignment.· Business Process Analysis & Improvement: Analyze existing business processes and identify areas where data analytics can provide value. Work with stakeholders to develop solutions that improve decision-making, streamline operations, and support business growth.· Facilitation of Workshops & Meetings: Lead or facilitate workshops, meetings, and discussions with business stakeholders to clarify requirements, discuss potential solutions, and ensure alignment across teams. Document meeting outcomes, action items, and follow-up steps to ensure transparency and accountability.· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with project managers, data analysts, and other teams to ensure the successful implementation of data solutions. Act as a liaison to ensure that business requirements are clearly understood and that the analytics team has the necessary context to deliver the right solutions.· Communication of Insights: Clearly communicate the results of data analysis and insights to business stakeholders in an easily understandable format. Ensure that insights are actionable and aligned with business objectives, and support stakeholders in making informed decisions.· Continuous Stakeholder Feedback & Adjustment: Maintain an ongoing dialogue with stakeholders to gather feedback on data analytics initiatives and make adjustments as necessary. Ensure that projects evolve in line with business needs and changing priorities.—Qualifications:· Experience:o 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a data or analytics-driven environment.o Proven experience in gathering and documenting business requirements, managing stakeholder relationships, and facilitating cross-functional communication.· Skills:o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.o Strong ability to facilitate discussions, workshops, and meetings to gather requirements and ensure alignment.o Ability to translate complex business needs into clear, understandable requirements and documentation.o Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities and manage expectations effectively.o Solid experience in documenting business processes, functional requirements, and user stories.· Soft Skills:o Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.o Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.o Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.· Education:o Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Information Systems, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP) are a plus.
Expected salary: 15000 – 16000 per month
