We are recruiting for this role to lead the implementation of SAP Manufacturing and Quality solutions on our MT and IM ERP platforms.The role is responsible for the design and implementation of ERP Manufacturing and Quality solutions at the J&J sites. This includes implementation and management of interfaces between ERP and Manufacturing/Quality systems (e.g. MES, LIMS, WMS).Key Responsibilities:
- Extensive knowledge in technologies and processes associated with SAP Manufacturing/Quality Management including virtual environments, networking, and integration.
- Responsible for overall Engineering and Technology architecture definition, roadmap, and technical decisions for the product in coordination with the Product Owner, Product Group Engineer and BU Architect. Accountable for ensuring that technical implementation is aligned to the BU Architecture vision, economic framework and business needs
- Work closely with the Business Product Manager to define Product strategy/vision
- Work with squads to problem-solve technical challenges and implement solutions, using the squad technology strategy as a guide; is “hands-on-keys” coding while also supporting system/design/code reviews for squad – inclusive of assembling, writing and approving enablers
- Drive development and selection of technical solution options (from the approved list of solutions) and test concepts / potential solutions with users
- Guide and influence technology options with business partners and collaborate with platform/product teams to find opportunities to leverage platforms
- Run development and review cadence, align tech landscape across squads to promote reusability, scalability and modularity
- Supervise product/platform developments and drive leading engineering practices for higher tech quality
- Ensure timely adoption of new technologies and innovation, select and resource ideas to explore via conceptualization sessions where vital
- Works with squads and other Product Lead Engineers to handle risks and tackle, raise, and track cross-product dependencies and impediments
- Communicate vision to developers and testers. Point of contact for Technology Services (TS), build, design, test, and deployment for MT & IM ERP platforms.
- Build use cases, writes and clarifies user stories, visualization, and process flows
- Explain how requirements may be implemented from a functional standpoint and drive/improve user experience
- Accountable for impact analysis and testing plans, including regression testing analysis and impact to existing functionality, to ensure risks are accurately handled for solutions implemented on platforms.
QualificationsRequired:
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, Masters Preferred.
- Domain expert: Shop Floor Operations, Process/Production orders, MRP, BOM, Routings/ Master Recipes, Production Versions, IM/WM
- Demonstrated ability (6+ years of experience) in deploying and supporting ERP Manufacturing/ Make/Quality Management functionality (preferable SAP), including end-to-end full life-cycle activities.
- 3-5+ years of hands-on configuration experience within the Manufacturing modules of ERP (preferable SAP)
- Track record of large program delivery and compliance
- Must have experience of working with technical teams such as ABAP, Basis, Security and Integration
- Experience working with global teams
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, including formal presentation skills
- Ability to successfully lead multiple critical issues simultaneously
- Must have a flexible approach, thrive on change and able to adapt to it. A proven sense of urgency and ability to handle changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment
- Change management and System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience
Preferred:
- Domain expert: QA Lab, Quality Control and Quality Assurance processes
- Extensive experience in designing and deploying interfaces between ERP and external Manufacturing Execution Systems and Quality Systems
- A minimum 3 years of AGILE methodology experience
- Multi-functional knowledge of SD LE, FI, and Plan
- End to End Supply Chain experience
- Strong techno-functional skills combined with business/functional knowledge, preferably in a Supply Chain environment
- Excellent ability to lead, influence, empower and encourage others in a team-oriented, collaborative environment, exceptional service orientation and strong negotiating skills.
- Experience with FDA environment
- Experience with Medical Device and Innovative Medicine businesses
- Understanding of ERP Security and Authorizations (preferable SAP)
The compensation and benefits information set forth in this posting applies to candidates hired in the United States. Candidates hired outside the United States will be eligible for compensation and benefits in accordance with their local market.The anticipated base pay range for this position is $91,000 to $147,200.The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
