We are a global company, and our products—including mobile elevating work platforms, telehandlers, utility vehicles and accessories—can be found all over the world.As a Safety Manager, you will oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of safety programs at our Jefferson City and Knoxville locations. Leading a small support team, you will drive a proactive safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and minimize workplace risks to create a safe and efficient work environment.YOUR IMPACTProvide direction and guidance on the implementation and maintenance of all health and safety programs.Conduct safety assessments on manufacturing equipment.Analyze safety trends and implement corrective actions.Lead incident reviews with supervisors and management.Participate in tool run-off meetings and safety analyses for production lines.Assist management in developing, implementing, and enforcing safety programs.Evaluate risks and establish guidelines for roles, training, performance metrics, and incentives within the safety management system.Ensure compliance with OSHA, federal, state, and local health and safety regulations.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree in Safety Science, Industrial Hygiene, or related field5-plus years safety management experienceSTANDOUT QUALIFICATIONSSafety Experience in manufacturing environmentASP or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification.Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, risk assessment, and hazard analysis.Proven ability to lead safety audits, inspections, and investigations.Experience in incident root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.Ability to collaborate across departments to integrate safety into daily operations.Exhibit strong leadership, development and project management skillsWHY JLG, AN OSHKOSH COMPANY?Moving the future forward is our priority and this includes your future. We are better together.Pay Range: $82,000.00 – $132,800.00The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate’s experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
