Job description: Key Responsibilities
1.Joinery Detailing and Fabrication: Create detailed joinery drawings, including plans, elevations, and sections, with a focus on fabrication requirements. Develop precise fabrication drawings, ensuring intricate details are accurately conveyed.
2.CAD Mastery: Use advanced CAD software to produce 2D and 3D models that align with both design and fabrication standards.
3.Material Expertise and Collaboration: Demonstrate expertise in premium woodworking materials, ensuring they meet luxury standards. Collaborate with the technical manager and manufacturers to align materials with design specifications. Work closely with fabrication teams to translate intricate designs into flawless physical joinery elements.
4.Documentation Excellence: Maintain detailed records of joinery and fabrication processes, including revisions and clean as-built drawings. Organize and catalogue drawings, showcasing a portfolio of luxury craftsmanship.
5.Technical Support for Fabrication and Installation: Provide expert technical support during fabrication to ensure every detail is executed perfectly. Oversee the installation process, ensuring the project’s luxury vision is realized with precision on-site.Requirements
1.Diploma or degree in Drawing, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
2.Minimum of 5 years of experience in a drawing role, with a focus on luxury joinery and fabrication.
3.Mastery of CAD software for both design and fabrication applications.
4.Extensive knowledge of premium woodworking materials and artisanal techniques.
5.Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
6.Superior communication and collaboration skills within a multidisciplinary team.
7.Collaborate with the Main Contractor to address and resolve comments on shop drawings.
8.Deliver shop drawings promptly and efficiently.
9.Proficient in 3D Max, utilizing it to design kitchens or joinery works with Keller Software (Winner).
