Ready to write your story?Join MoFo as a SENIOR DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT PROGRAMMER & ANALYST on our Information Technology team!This role can be based in San Francisco, Palo Alto, Los Angeles, San Diego, Denver, Austin, Boston, New York or Washington, D.C.ABOUT THE ROLEGuided by department objectives and priorities and under the guidance of the Director, Enterprise Applications & Development, performs implementation, documentation, testing and operational support of the document management, email filing management, and Decisiv-based search and retrieval systems, and other systems as assigned. Develops and supports integrations using REST APIs and Microsoft’s development platform (Visual Studio). Responsible for all operational tasks and ensures that the systems are maintained and working efficiently. Maintains proficient knowledge of assigned systems. Has a thorough understanding of the Firm’s and department’s organizational structure, business goals, policies, and procedures. Ensures client service and satisfaction are attained in all areas of position.
- Configures, upgrades, implements, tests and supports iManage Work 10 for Windows.
- Troubleshoots and resolves security-related issues related to iManage Security Policy Manager.
- Develops and supports integrations from the firm’s enterprise systems to iManage.
- Manages application upgrades utilizing and applying project management principals.
- Tests and deploys security updates and software patches for various applications.
- Troubleshoots and solves third level support calls escalated from Support Center.
- Makes recommendations for various application settings and presents innovative solutions for existing business challenges.
- Works with various IS departments and vendors to remediate the desktop applications and third-party issues.
- Works with software vendors to test and evaluate new products.
- Performs regression testing on images and updates packages on a regular basis.
- Remains current in industry trends in Information Technology and the legal profession.
- Ensures expertise in technology relevant to the position; proactively uses most current technology to further teamwork, client service, and efficiency.
- Participates on projects that increase the value of services to clients, attorneys, timekeepers and the Firm.
- Consistently promotes and models the Firm’s Client Service Principles in leadership, teamwork, work product, and personal interaction.
- Ensures compliance with the Firm’s Information Handling Policy, including safeguarding confidential and personal information, and reporting any suspected breach appropriately and immediately.
- Adheres to the Firm’s General Safety Practices and any unique safety practices for department and building.
ABOUT YOUEducation and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, with a minimum of two (2) years’ experience supporting law firm applications.
- Strong understanding and working knowledge of desktop applications integrations and Windows operating systems.
- In depth knowledge of Document Management and Records Management Systems, iManage Security Policy Manager (SPM) and windows security policies.
- Strong working knowledge the iManage APIs, and ability to run queries, update records and troubleshoot issues with integrations. Knowledge of Powershell is helpful.
- Experience with iManage products & associated technologies
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience developing integrations using JavaScript, Python, REST APIs, and experience with JSON is required.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience developing applications with Microsoft’s tools (ASP.NET, Visual Studio) is required.
- Good understanding of network communication protocols; Strong knowledge of the Windows Operating System (including Windows 10, Windows Server 2012 R2-2022 as well as Azure).
- Intermediate level experience with Microsoft Office 365 Desktop and experience supporting Office 365 Online is a plus.
- Experience supporting Client and Server-based applications. Must be able to diagnose problems via system and application logs.
- Understanding of Information Governance concepts.
