Job description: Title: Senior Acquisition LeadKBR is seeking a Senior Acquisition Lead to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in support of the successful delivery of a Multi-Mission Tactical Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS). In this role, you will play a crucial role in providing recommendations translating mission needs into operationally delivered end-to-end solutions through developing and coordinating documentation necessary for execution.Job Description:Provides expert advice to the Government Program Manager regarding acquisition strategies, contracting, budgeting, and executionInteracts and coordinate daily with numerous stakeholders (Program Managers, Contracting Officers, Finance, System Engineers, and external/partner organizations). The successful candidate will have excellent communication and team skills.Offers strategic approach to developing documentation required to support Defense Acquisition Boards.Provides expertise in software acquisition programs within the DoD.Serves as a strategic problem solver for the program office and refines acquisition strategies, as well as identifies program execution issues with accompanying solution recommendations.Generates presentation materials, status briefings, and strategic communication inputs.Perform analyses of program business cases, risk assessments; and offers actionable recommendations to the Government Program Manager.Develops and collaborates on acquisition planning briefings and documents (AoA, ASP, ASD, J&A, etc.).Develops and collaborates on solicitation planning and execution documents (RFPs, SOWs, CDRLs, Incentive Plans, etc.).Drafts technical evaluations and functions as an advisor in Source Selections.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or a related science field (systems engineering, software engineering) and 8 years of experience.Must have in-depth experience with DoD program acquisition processes that include generating source selection criteria, developing integrated master schedules, and/or developing supporting artifacts for defense acquisition boards.Must be highly knowledgeable in developing and coordinating all activities and documentation required to support source selections.Demonstrated experience with Navy/NAVAIR financial management is required.Must be fluent in being a team lead for acquisition and systems engineering professionals to support ongoing and emerging program acquisitions.Must be experienced in schedule management of DoD programs.Must be an e have proven experience interfacing and communicating with all levels of functional/division acquisition offices.TS/SCI Clearance with an in-scope security background investigation (T5 or SSBI) is required.Preferred Qualifications:Master’s degree in business administration, engineering, or a related science field (systems engineering, software engineering) and 12 years of experience.Understands Program Management of ACAT I through ACAT III programs.Served as an evaluator/advisor on at least one Source Selection.Experience with Confluence and JIRA.Certifications: DAWIA/APDP Program Management Level III, Project Management Professional (PMP), and/or PMP Program Management Professional (PgMP).Belong, Connect, Grow with KBR!Scheduled Weekly Hours:40 hours/weekCompensation: $93,600 – $140,400The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.Additional Compensation:KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels per internal policy or contractual designation.
