Job description: Software DeveloperThe IT Department is seeking a highly motivated Software Developer to join our agile team. This role focuses on developing and maintaining custom applications and websites, working from a project backlog. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a service-oriented mindset.Responsibilities:
- Develop software using tools and technologies such as Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), HTML, JavaScript, ASP.Net, C#, Microsoft SQL Server, and WordPress.
- Collaborate within an Agile team to address support requests, enhancement projects, and technical tasks, including analysis, design, development, testing, and QA.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to software development standards and change control processes.
- Create reliable documentation to support knowledge transfer and minimize support costs.
- Integrate with third-party platforms and Web services/APIs.
- Work with vendors to implement solutions and complete projects.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues during business hours and after hours as needed.
- Perform installations, upgrades, and provide technical support.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience required.
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience required.
- Proficiency in debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
- Experience with relational databases (Microsoft SQL preferred) and Office 365 applications.
- Preferred experience in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne development, WordPress, HTML/HTML5, C#, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, JSON, XML, and CSS/CSS3.
- Familiarity with manufacturing systems, ERP, CRM, or e-commerce is a plus.
