Essential Job DutiesThe NAF Academy will introduce students from across the state to hands-on, STEM-focused opportunities in addition to career exploration and college preparation. The NAF Academy Residential Counselor will be responsible for the supervision and safety of students enrolled in the NAF Academy. Direct responsibilities include: supervision of students, implementation of program activities, ensuring a safe environment for students and staff, monitoring students’ curfews, managing student behavioral issues, promoting college as the next step for high school students, planning programming, and other duties that aid in the goals of the NAF Academy.

Minimum Experience/EducationMust be mature with the ability to supervise and direct high school students.

Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, EducationCollege seniors, graduate students, former and current teachers, counselors as well as TRIO alumni are strongly encouraged to apply.
