Position DescriptionThe SAP Developer is responsible for working within the framework of a team on technical projects and requirement-gathering sessions. With an understanding of SAP development principles, this team member works on detailed application design and architecture concepts, performs research, evaluates relevant technologies, and presents alternative solutions. The SAP Developer develops, documents, and performs unit testing of software to ensure that it meets the end-user needs and achieves business goals. The SAP Developer also assists in the technical aspects of all project deliverables, provides technical guidance as necessary, manages various development tasks, and supports project initiatives and ongoing system maintenance.Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or equivalent technical experience.
- Three or more years of ABAP programming experience, including user-exits, ALV reports, Web Dynpro, interfaces, workflows, BAPI, BAdIs, Smartforms, Adobe Forms, LSMW, dialog programs, OData, CDS, and HANA views.
- Proven experience in modifying standard SAP Fiori Applications and developing custom Fiori Applications.
- Strong knowledge of ABAP Objects and modern ABAP (version 7.40+).
- Recent experience with SAP S/4HANA and familiarity with multiple SAP modules, such as FI, CO, PP, PLM, SD, LE, WM, QM, PM, and HCM.
- Understanding relational databases and Structured Query Language (SQL).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to quickly comprehend technical information.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a team environment.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, and Scrum.
Preferred
- Knowledge of SAP technologies such as ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP), Fiori Elements, and SAP BTP.
- Understanding and experience in cGMP validated environment.
