Job description: Responsibilities:Thoroughly review client specifications to ensure compliance and alignment with project requirements.Undertake the mechanical design of Shell & Tube Heat Exchangers, Air Cooled Heat Exchangers, Pressure Vessels, Columns, and other static equipment using PV-Elite software.Prepare detailed engineering drawings of Heat Exchangers & Pressure Vessels, adhering to ASME U & U2 Stamp requirements and ASME Quality Manual standards.Compile and submit design documents to AI & Client for approval, addressing and resolving any comments or queries promptly.Manage the issuance of drawings to the shop and maintain document revision status in accordance with ASME Quality Manual guidelines.Prepare Material Requisition (MR) and Technical Delivery Conditions (TDC) for material procurement, ensuring compliance with project specifications.Perform stress analysis of components using WRC methods, utilizing tools such as Nozzle Pro and ASME Code Calc.Attend and successfully clear ASME Audits & Client Audits related to design activities.Review Design Appraisals (DAD) from Professional Engineers (PE) and prepare resolutions to comment effectively.Review vendor designs and drawings to ensure compliance with codes/standards requirements, coordinating with vendors for any necessary revisions.Collaborate with Quality and Production departments to resolve fabrication queries and address any issues encountered during fabrication.Provide technical support to the Estimation design team to ensure accurate project estimations.Oversee vendor correspondence, expediting, issue, and schedule control of vendor documents/drawings.Required Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.8-10 years of experience in ASME U & U2 Certified Heat Exchanger manufacturing.Must have experience in thermal design of air-cooled heat exchangers and shell and tube heat exchangers.Extensive experience in Oil & Gas, Refinery, and Petrochemical static equipment mechanical design.Proficient in ASME Codes (Sec VIII Div 1, Sec VIII Div 2), TEMA, API 661, and major client specifications.Strong proficiency in PV-Elite software and stress analysis tools.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills.Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Expected salary: 10000 – 12000 per month
