- Collaborate with clients to understand their cake design requirements and preferences
- Create cake designs that align with client specifications, taking into consideration theme, color scheme, and overall style
- Utilize a range of decorating techniques, such as piping, sculpting, and fondant work, to bring cake designs to life
- Prepare and bake cake layers and fillings according to recipes and customer preferences
- Decorate cakes with icing, frosting, and various decorative elements, ensuring precision and attention to detail
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in cake design
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including cleaning and maintaining cake decorating tools and equipment
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cake Designer or similar role
- Strong artistic and creative skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent knowledge of various decorating techniques and tools
- Proficient in cake baking and decorating techniques
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
Expected salary: 7000 – 7500 per month
