Job description: PURPOSE OF THE POSITIONThe primary focus of this role is to look after and attend to the needs of a 7-8 years male child. While the main responsibility is childcare the role involves supervising other activities and addressing additional needs as required with other departmentsLOCATIONAbu Dhabi, UAEThe client will arrange work visa and accommodation if not localQUALIFICATIONS / CERTIFICATION / LICENSES
- Certification from a recognised Butler School – not mandatory
- Diploma or higher education in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Business Management or Psychology – not mandatory
- Level 2 – Allergy Awareness
- Level 2 – HACCP
- Safe Chemical Handling
EXPERIENCE
- 5-7 years’ experience working with children. MANDATORY. Experience as a Children Butler highly regarded.
- Experienced in working with VVIP clients with a passion for providing personalised luxury service
- Assist with wardrobe management
KEY SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE
- Exceptional skills and working with children with a proven ability to engage and entertain
- Passionate about ensuring fun and stay active with enriching activities
- Maintaining a safe environment for the child at all times
- To have the best interest of the child at heart
- Understand and strictly adhere to the rules and regulations of the palace and follow hygiene health and safety standards
- Coordinate meal preferences with f and B and ordering food from outside and other outlets
- Ensure that the chef is aware of the Child Nutrition and menu options
- Making sure during travel the F&B department is aware of the child choices of snacks and other food items
- Coordinate all school activities with nannies and ensure that all entertainment activities are booked
- Provide feedback to the parents and also share special moments pictures to the parent
- Ensure that the child is aware of correct behavior
- Ensure that the child is always accompanied by the security agents
- Impeccably well-groomed and high levels of personal hygiene
- Knowledge of arranging wardrobes
- Maintains order in the Principalu0027s private areas
- Perform any other duties assigned by the head of Department
