Job description: Key Responsibilities:
1.Project Coordination and Oversight: Oversee multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines, quality, and client expectations are met. Coordinate with design teams, architects, and contractors to ensure the smooth execution of interior design plans. Review design proposals, construction documents, and timelines to ensure alignment with project goals.
2.Operational and Maintenance Management: Develop and implement operational procedures to streamline workflows within the design team. Optimize resource allocation (staff, materials, and budget) for each project. Monitor day-to-day business activities, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
3.Client Liaison and Relationship Management: Serve as the point of contact for all internal and external clients during the operational phase, managing expectations, project updates, and feedback. Ensure clear and open communication between clients and design teams.
4.Vendor and Supplier Management: Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, contractors, and service providers. Negotiate contracts and ensure timely delivery of materials and furnishings. Procurement of Machinery & Vehicle spare parts and maintain an efficient supply chain.
5.Budgeting and Financial Management: Create and manage project budgets, ensuring all expenses are tracked and projects remain profitable. Monitor financial performance, approve expenditures, and ensure all client billings are accurate. Forecast operational costs and prepare reports for senior management.
6.Quality Control and Compliance: Ensure all interior design projects meet the firm’s quality standards and industry best practices. Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure work is compliant with local building regulations and safety standards.
7.Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and support the design and operations team, helping to develop skills and ensure high performance. Assign roles and responsibilities for project teams and ensure alignment with project needs.
8.Process Improvement and Innovation: Identify opportunities for operational improvement, streamline processes, and implement best practices. Stay updated on industry trends, new design technologies, and operational methodologies to keep the business competitive.Requirements:
1.5-6 years’ experience in Manufacturing company – Perfume manufacturing preferred, Factory Operations, Product Development.
2.2-3 years of experience in operations or project management within the interior design or construction industry.
3.Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
4.Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
5.Familiarity with local building codes and compliance regulations.
6.Experience in managing high-end residential or commercial interior design projects.
7.Proficiency in budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control.
8.Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
