Job description: Responsibilities:Monitors and creates Missions in Micro-Transport Software (MT) based on operational daily schedulesProvides the customer with daily reports generated from MT software as per the customer’s request.Provides the customer with all the details regarding the dispatch of goods such as waybill no, estimated date of arrival etc. once the shipment has been picked from the warehouse. Prepares the job file and checks for all relevant documents, chargeable services and costs before forwarding to the Dispatch team within the Transport department.Coordinates shipment arrangements together with the dispatch team to ensure shipments are scheduled for pick up, loading, and departure to destination and that they are on time. Any delays and changes must be escalated and proactively actioned.Ensures that all customers’ queries are investigated and resolved and escalates queries to the supervisor- if appropriate.Creates ongoing data base of customer / customer details and actively follows up on additional shipment requirements from existing and new clients.Actively takes ownership of all transportation aspects of customer shipment requirements, from receiving booking requests to invoicing.Works pro-actively with internal and external customers and suppliers to provide complete transportation solutions.Liaises with Transport Operations and Warehouse Operations to provide regular updates to the customer on the status of shipments and for the timely receipt of PODs.Continuously measures and controls warehouse, transport, and documentation activities to ensure that timelines and service levels are met.Prepares necessary inbound & outbound status reports, billing and any other reports as required.Ensure that all cost information is available for billing within monthly timelines.Supports decisions made by customer service management and conveys to the team in a positive manner.Identifies and escalates consistent or recurring problems with the systems functionality.Any other related duties/projects assigned by the Line Manager from time to time to meet business needs.Required Skills:Graduate in any discipline/ Diploma or Certificate holder.With a minimum of 2 years in a customer service environment is preferred.With previous experience in Transportation/Logistics/Forwarding.Fluency in English (written and spoken), necessary.Strong communication, interpersonal & organizing skills.Attention to detail.Computer literate with competent skills in MS Office and other technical software.

Expected salary: 4000 per month
