Job description: Position: Chief Risk Officer
Location: Dubai
Salary: Circa 50-60K AEDOne of the leading financial institutions in the UAE is seeking a Chief Risk Officer based in Dubai.Key Responsibilities:
– Manage the Risk and Compliance functions and identify key operational risks and regulatory issues impacting the organization’s operations.
– Provide appropriate analysis, review, and advice on all Risk and Compliance matters to the management.
– Ensure an appropriate Risk Management and compliance culture is in place to minimize risk, maximize returns, and adhere to statutory norms.
– Ensure that the organization operates in accordance with all regulatory and legal requirements and company standards of conduct.Requirements:
– A Bachelor’s degree with a major in Accounting and Finance, Banking Studies, Risk Management, Compliance, or any relevant commercial discipline. An MBA would be an advantage.
– A minimum of 15 years of experience in banking or financial institutions, with at least 8 years in a senior Credit/Risk Management or Compliance role.
– At least 3-5 years of experience leading a Risk or Compliance Department.

Expected salary: 50000 – 60000 per year
