Job description: Dubai, UAE SALARY: 50,000 AED – 65,000 AED PER: Month TERM: PermanentThe PMO will play a critical role in managing and overseeing projects. This position requires a strong financial background, strategic thinking, and expertise in cash flow management. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, and operational excellence.Key Responsibilities
- Project Management:
- Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle, from planning and execution to completion.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement strategic initiatives.
- Align project goals with the overall business strategy and objectives of the family office.
- Conduct market and financial analyses to support strategic decision-making.
- Financial Management:
- Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring financial discipline and adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Oversee cash flow planning and management to ensure adequate liquidity for projects.
- Prepare financial reports and analyses to track project performance and ROI.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Communicate project status, updates, and changes to stakeholders effectively.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings and ensure alignment on project objectives and priorities.
- Operational Excellence:
- Develop and implement PMO standards, processes, and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational policies.
- Continuously improve project management methodologies and tools.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of project managers and coordinators.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
- Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in project management, preferably within a family office or financial services environment.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in cash flow management, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing strategic initiatives.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse groups.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software and financial analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
