Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Logistics Coordinator to join their team in Business Bay, Dubai. The ideal candidate will support the logistics operations and help ensure the efficient movement of goods.Job Responsibilities:

  • Shipment Coordination: Assist in coordinating the shipment process from origin to destination, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Documentation: Prepare and manage shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing lists, and invoices.
  • Vendor Management: Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and transportation companies to ensure smooth operations.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and availability of stock.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to shipments.
  • Compliance: Ensure all logistics activities comply with relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Cost Management: Assist in managing logistics costs, identifying areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on logistics performance, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless logistics operations.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of logistics or supply chain experience.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Google Workspace and logistics management software.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, with a proactive and positive attitude.
  • Time Management: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Professional Certifications: Certification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is a plus.
  • Sector Experience: Experience specifically in the logistics sector.
  • Advanced Software Skills: Advanced proficiency in logistics management software and tools.
  • Multilingual Skills: Proficiency in additional languages relevant to business operations.
  • Detail-Oriented: Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in logistics operations.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong ability to analyze logistics issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Communication: Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Technology Savvy: Competent in using MS Office Suite, especially Excel, Google Workspace, and various logistics management software.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and maintain relationships with colleagues, vendors, and customers.
  • Adaptability: Flexible and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ethical Conduct: High degree of integrity and adherence to ethical standards.

  • Days: Monday to Saturday
  • Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
