Job description: Job Responsibilities:
1.Product Development:
a)Conducting market research on technical comparisons of competition & evaluating the technical proposals from R&D.
b)Reviewing the product proposals with Sales in comparison to competition and finalizing the specifications & features.
c)Propose FOB Target prices against features & Specifications.
d)Follow-up with R&D in weekly meetings and updating management on product development progress.
e)Support R&D with competition samples for Tear-down analysis.
f)Coordinate between factories & 3rd party Test labs for Product testing on CB reports / performance & functional test reports.
2.Product Support:
a)Responsible to support Sales team on technical queries on Products and coordinate with R&D for ensuring timely feedback.
b)Maintain database on Product related technical queries and manage Product portfolio for sales region.
c)Review the product life cycle and update the sales & Service dept on transition of products with schedule.
d)Ensure all compliance are met in accordance with regional requirement & government laws.
e)Responsible for Product end-of life process and ensuring stocks are liquidated within transition time period.
f)Update & manage Selection Software with New Product range to support Sales & Application team.
3.Product Launch:
a)Reviewing the final specifications from R&D and preparation of technical catalogues & features.
b)Finalize the FOB Price with factories and material creation in SAP.
c)Updating Management & Sales Team on Product launch schedule.
d)Prepare & conduct Product Presentations to Sales & Distributors.
e)Follow-up with R&D for Databook, IOM, Service Manuals & Spare Parts list for Sales & Service depts.
4.Other Responsibilities:
a)Preparation of Presentations for Top Management / MSM / PDM / DENV management.
b)Bi-weekly update reports on Product Development plan progress.
c)Weekly schedule plan to be updated to Management.
d)Responsible to achieve VRV products Quantities turnover through Sales & Service business.Job Requirements:
1.Minimum 10 years working experience in HVAC industry especially in VRV/VRF technology
2.Previous Retail OR Projects Sales Experience in UAE or GCC region is preferable.
3.Experience in Application on HVAC Equipment selections will be added value.
4.At least 3-4year experience in managing team is desirable.
5.Knowledge in handling various stake holders like factories, R&D, Sales & Service depts. will be added value.
6.Mechanical Engineering Degree
