Job description: We are looking to hire a Student Counsellor/ Academic Counsellor for one of our clients (highly reputed School located in Al Ain).To qualify for this role, you should have at least 2 years of UAE experience as a Student Counsellor. Arabic and English language skill are mandatory.Qualifying Criteria:You should fulfil one of the following criteria:Criteria One
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or Social Service
- 2 years of experience in youth-related social work.
(Note: No previous experience required for UAE Nationals, but some experience in social service preferred.)Criteria Two
- Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Counselling, Youth Development, Sociology, or a related subject
- 4 years of experience in youth-related social work.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Counselling potential students and providing them with information about the courses, programs, and other offerings.
- Handling student inquiries and providing them with the necessary information to help them make informed decisions about their education.
- Processing student applications, verifying their documents, and ensuring that they meet the admission requirements.
- Conducting interviews with students to evaluate their suitability for the program.
- Collaborating with trainers to coordinate and facilitate the orientation of new students and to provide ongoing support to current students.
- Creating and maintaining accurate records of student enrolment, including attendance, grades, and other academic information.
- Facilitating communication between trainers and learners to ensure that students are receiving the necessary support and guidance.
- Coordinating with other departments within the institute to ensure that all processes related to admissions and post-admission support are running smoothly.
- Participating in marketing and promotional activities to meet the monthly sales target.
