Job description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to join our team as a Health Information Manager. As a Health Information Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the capture, storage, and analysis of medical data to ensure accurate and efficient healthcare delivery. You will also play a crucial role in maintaining patient privacy and compliance with regulations.Responsibilities

- Supervise the collection, organization, and management of health information, including patient records, medical reports, and administrative data.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for the use and disclosure of health information in compliance with legal requirements.
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of health information through regular audits and quality control measures.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to streamline documentation processes and improve the accuracy and timeliness of medical coding and billing.
- Train and oversee a team of health information technicians and data entry professionals, providing guidance and support in their day-to-day tasks.
- Monitor and analyze healthcare data to identify trends, streamline operations, and improve patient care.
- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations and best practices related to health information management and make recommendations for process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management or a related field.
- Certified Health Data Analyst (CHDA) certification preferred.
- Proven experience working in health information management, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Excellent knowledge of healthcare standards, regulations, and best practices, such as HIPAA and ICD-10 coding.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems, data analysis tools, and health information management software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in managing and reviewing health information.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals and team members.
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills to motivate and develop a team of health information technicians.
Expected salary: 6000 – 7000 per month
