Job description: We are seeking an experienced Offshore Rigger to join our team. As an Offshore Rigger, you will play a crucial role in setting up and maintaining the rigging and lifting equipment required for offshore operations. You will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of equipment and materials on offshore platforms or vessels. This is a physically demanding job that requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.Responsibilities

- Set up and inspect rigging equipment, including slings, cables, and pulleys, following established procedures and safety guidelines
- Attach and secure rigging equipment to loads, ensuring proper balance and weight distribution
- Signal crane operators or other equipment operators to move loads to designated areas
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on rigging equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Coordinate with other crew members to plan and execute lifting and rigging operations
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines to minimize the risk of accidents or injuries
- Keep accurate records of rigging activities, including inspections, repairs, and lifting operations
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an offshore rigger
- Valid offshore survival and medical certificates
- Good physical stamina and the ability to work in demanding weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of rigging techniques and equipment
- Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and guidelines
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to problem-solve and make decisions quickly and effectively
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces as required
- Willingness to work long hours and be on call for emergencies or unscheduled operations
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from work sites
Expected salary: 6600 – 7200 per month
