- Conduct risk assessments and analyze data to identify investment opportunities with low-risk and high-profit potential
- Create and maintain statistical models to predict outcomes and evaluate financial performance
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with team members to optimize business performance and drive strategic initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or related field
- Good Progress with ASSA Exams
- 0 – 2 years of experience in an actuarial role within the Short Term Insurance industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in statistical modeling software and tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Actuarial qualification or progress towards qualification is preferred
