Job description: Our client in the Mining Manufacturing industry is currently looking for a Senior Marketing Coordinator, in Sandton.Responsibilities:

- Accountability objective:
- Responsible for coordinating and executing company marketing activities by developing and implementing marketing and advertising campaigns, promoting company brand, and increasing customer awareness of the business, maintaining promotional material, and overseeing all communication related activities.
- The position is supported by the Managing Director in South Africa.
- Implement and manage marketing and advertising campaigns across the Group 40%.
- This is done by:
- Coordinating and managing all company marketing campaigns.
- Manage graphic designers for all creative work.
- Overseeing company marketing budget.
- Assist management team with new product launches.
- Coordination of subscriptions to online and/or printed magazines.
- Coordinate annual advertising campaign, in line with allocated budget.
- Assist with content for advertisements, editorials, and articles.
- Liaising with media in terms of negotiating rates, booking media, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Supporting the Managing Director and sales team by coordinating and collating content to support campaigns.
- Driving campaigns through various print, digital and social media platforms.
- Producing an accurate summary of total spend at the end of a marketing campaign and evaluate the success.
- Oversee and manage all company corporate events including trade shows, seminars, conferences, product launches, and company sponsored parties 10%.
- This is done by:
- Liaise with vendors, exhibitors, and stakeholders during the event planning process to ensure a seamless experience.
- Identify and coordinate the acquisition of all equipment and material necessary for the event including décor, catering, equipment, promotional items, and marketing literature.
- Ensure that all equipment, materials, and branding elements align with company standards and branding guidelines.
- Collect feedback from participants and stakeholders, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations for future events.
- Manage Companywide Communications 15%.
- This is done by:
- Assisting with content for internal newsletter on a quarterly basis.
- Proof reading and editing of internal and external adverts, write ups, articles etc.
- Managing company shared marketing drive.
- Assisting team members with day-to-day marketing tasks and coordinating marketing projects and activities as requested.
- Maintaining effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives.
- Implementing communication plans to increase brand awareness and recognition for the company.
- Manage Companywide Communications 15%.
- This is done by:
- Assisting with content for internal newsletter on a quarterly basis.

- Managing company shared marketing drive.
- Assisting team members with day-to-day marketing tasks and coordinating marketing projects and activities as requested.

- Manage promotional and branded material 15%.
- This is done by:
- Coordinating requirements for promotional material as defined by management/budget.
- Organising the production of branded items such as stationery and merchandise.
- Ensuring the availability of stock as and when needed.
- Maintain inventory of sales support materials, ensuring all are current and accurate, and coordinate the creation of new materials when necessary.
- As guided by management, attend Axis House Group training sessions when required 5%.
- A monthly progress report updating the Managing Director on:
- Development and implementation of marketing and advertising campaigns, including events.
- Management of Companywide Communications.
- Overseeing and Promotion of the Company Brand.
- Management of promotional and branded material.
- Attendance at Axis House training sessions.
- A formal business reviews every 6 months updating the Managing Director on and containing:
- A summary of monthly progress reports.
- A 6-monthly report on personal training application and development.
Requirements:
- Marketing Diploma/Degree.
- Own transport.
- Ability to travel.
- Excellent MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good teamwork skills.

Remuneration:
- R360 000 – R540 000 per annum.
Expected salary: R360000 – 540000 per year
