Job description: We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Planner to join our team. As an Inventory Planner, your primary responsibility will be to optimize inventory levels and ensure accurate forecasting to meet customer demands. You will work closely with various teams to monitor inventory performance, identify trends, and develop strategies to improve inventory management processes.Responsibilities

- Collaborate with sales, operations, and finance teams to create and maintain inventory plans and forecasts
- Analyze sales patterns, historical data, and market trends to forecast and determine optimum stock levels
- Monitor inventory levels and adjust forecasts accordingly to avoid stockouts and optimize inventory turns
- Identify excess or obsolete inventory and work with the team to implement corrective actions
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and manage inventory replenishment
- Develop and implement inventory optimization strategies to reduce costs and maximize profit margins
- Regularly evaluate inventory performance metrics and generate reports for management review
- Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance inventory management efficiency
- Stay updated on industry trends and market demands to make informed inventory planning decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product launches and promotional activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field
- Proven experience as an inventory planner or similar role
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights
- Proficient in inventory management software and advanced spreadsheet applications
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality of work
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of inventory control principles and best practices
- Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory forecasting methodologies
- Problem-solving skills with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach
Expected salary: 5600 – 6000 per month
