Job description: We are currently looking for a skilled and experienced Offshore Rigger to join our team. As an Offshore Rigger, you will play a crucial role in the safe and efficient lifting and moving of heavy equipment and materials on offshore installations. You will work in a dynamic and challenging environment, ensuring that all lifting operations are executed in compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.Responsibilities

- Inspect, install, and maintain lifting equipment such as cranes, winches, and slings
- Assess lifting requirements and determine the appropriate rigging equipment and techniques for each task
- Operate and control cranes and other rigging equipment to lift, move, and position heavy loads
- Secure loads using appropriate methods, including both traditional and specialized rigging techniques
- Collaborate with the rigging and operational teams to plan and execute lifting operations safely
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance on rigging equipment and report any defects or issues
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others
Requirements
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as an Offshore Rigger, preferably in the oil and gas industry
- Valid certifications for rigging operations (e.g., OPITO Rigger Stage 3, API RP 2D)
- In-depth knowledge of rigging equipment, techniques, and best practices
- Ability to interpret lifting plans and specifications
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and industry standards related to lifting operations
- Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions and confined spaces
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work well under pressure
Expected salary: 6600 – 7200 per month
