Job description: We are seeking a talented AutoCAD Draughtsman to join our team. As an AutoCAD Draughtsman, you will be responsible for creating technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD software. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and designers to accurately translate their concepts and designs into detailed drawings. In addition, you will ensure that all drawings adhere to industry standards and regulations. The successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a solid understanding of drafting techniques.Responsibilities
- Create and modify technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD software.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers to understand project requirements.
- Translate conceptual designs into detailed drawings, ensuring accuracy and precision.
- Review and revise drawings to eliminate errors and inconsistencies.
- Ensure that all drawings adhere to industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct site visits to gather data and measurements for drawing creation.
- Prepare drawing sets and documentation for project submission and review.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with AutoCAD software.
- Proficient in drafting techniques, including scale, dimensioning, and technical symbols.
- Knowledge of construction and building codes.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Associate degree in drafting, engineering, or related field preferred.
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modelling) software is a plus.
Expected salary: 6600 – 7200 per month
