Job description: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Reconciliation Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accuracy and completeness in financial records, identifying discrepancies, and resolving issues to maintain the integrity of financial statements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to work independently.Responsibilities

  • Perform daily, monthly, and quarterly reconciliations of financial data
  • Identify and investigate discrepancies in financial records and escalate issues as necessary
  • Maintain accurate records of reconciliation activities and provide regular status updates
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve reconciliation issues and implement process improvements
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Interpret and analyze financial data to identify trends and patterns
  • Prepare clear and concise reports summarizing reconciliation findings and recommendations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Proven experience in reconciliation or a similar role
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in using financial software and MS Office applications, especially Excel
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Expected salary: 5600 – 6400 per month
