- Pool Operations, understanding of swimming pool and spa chemistry, water purification,
- filtration and heating.
- Knowledge of the RLSSA Guidelines for Safe Pool Operations and Lifeguard responsibilities.
- Proficiency in the application of standardized procedures, practices, Acts and Regulations in
- relation to an aquatic environment.
- Ability to deliver the highest standards of public supervision and safety in line with facility
- guidelines.
- Ability to implement and maintain effective workplace and reporting systems.
- Ability to supervise and train a multi–skilled team.
- Local government experience is desirable
