Duties:
- Payment’s release- daily EFT’s, monthly payments to suppliers
- Help with forex management – reviewing impacts of covers and taking out covers.
- Reviewing of supplier amendments (especially banking details)
- Reviewing supplier recons monthly
- Executing foreign supplier revaluations monthly
- BEE Preferential procurement calculation and upload
- Creditor aging analysis
- Debtor age analysis reconciliation to TB (ensure submodule balances)
- Bad debt provision working paper prepare and post
- Monthly Group reporting of debtor classification (Client Risk)
- Monthly reporting of sales, forecast and order book value (Flash sales)
- Maintaining fixed asset register Depreciation calculation monthly
- Month end journals and other non-routine journals
- Recharges to group companies
- BEE scorecard management
Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- BCom
- BCom Honours and CTA
- CA(SA)
Experience:
- Completed SAICA Articles
- BIG 4 Audit firm exposure
- Manufacturing exposure is a BIG WIN!!
Skills & Competencies:
- Thorough knowledge of accounting and finance principles
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Good knowledge of VAT and Companies Income Tax
- Strong attention to detail and confidentiality Analytical
- Process oriented.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS365)
