Job description: Our client, a longstanding business with a deep impact in their industry is looking for a software engineering manager to join their team. This position is fully remote outside of meetings that are 2 to 3 times yearly in Lexington. (Must be located within 4 hours of Lexington)

In this role, you’ll:
- Lead by Example: Mentor and guide developers, foster a collaborative environment, and uphold company values through practical servant leadership.
- Ensure Code Quality: Conduct thorough code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and maintain alignment with best practices and design standards.
- Drive Strategic Software Development: Collaborate with senior leadership to translate business needs into functional software solutions, ensuring alignment with broader company objectives.
- Partner with the Team: Work cross-functionally to understand systems, processes, and requirements, ensuring seamless integration and delivery.
- Embrace Agile Practices: Participate in story pointing, adhere to timelines, and leverage Azure DevOps for effective tracking and version control.
- Contribute to Mobile App Development: Utilize MAUI, C#, and Web Services to create innovative mobile experiences.
If you possess:
- Deep Technical Expertise: 7+ years of .NET development experience (VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET, SQL) and familiarity with MAUI and Web Services.
- Proven Leadership Track Record: 3+ years of experience managing and developing a software development team.
- Excellent Communication and Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to translate technical concepts, collaborate effectively, and find creative solutions.
- Business Acumen: The ability to understand broader business objectives and align software development accordingly
Salary: Up to 135K with full benefits
