The Clinical Project Lead works within the Clinical Governance & Innovation Team as part of the Mental Health Centre of Excellence & Innovation unit (MHCEI). The role will contribute to the development and response to mental health and wellbeing initiatives. This includes contributing to the evidence base through research and evaluation, leading sustainable solutions for valid and cost-effective initiatives, and the provision of support on the design and rollout of the organisation wide Clinical Governance Framework.

Your duties will include:

  • Informed advice – maintaining contemporary knowledge of evidence-based practice and trends
  • Evaluation – determining the validity and reliability of mental health and wellbeing initiatives
  • Project management – including project planning, schedule and stakeholder management
  • Education/therapeutic facilitation – delivers engaging process and learning outcomes
  • Reporting – ensure accurate, accessible and succinct records
  • Other duties as directed by management

As the successful applicant, you will have:

  • Proven knowledge and experience in designing, delivering, and evaluating mental health projects using diverse methods
  • Demonstrated expertise in leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality services
  • Sound clinical judgment and experience providing authoritative advice in complex and sensitive organisational situations
  • Demonstrated ability to identify emerging issues, initiate evidence-based interventions, and communicate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders, including senior management

Requirements and relevant information:

  • One (1) x full-time, ongoing position available
  • This position is located at Victoria Police Centre, 311 Spencer Street, Docklands.
  • Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa.
